Kurčiųjų reabilitacijos centro socialinis projektas – Europos Komisijos apdovanojimų nugalėtojas
Lietuvoje įgyvendinto ES paramos lėšomis finansuoto projekto socialinė reklama pripažinta geriausia ES ir pelnė garbingą „RegioStars 2013" apdovanojimą.
Savo kategorijoje nugalėjo viešosios įstaigos „Respublikinis kurčiųjų reabilitacijos centras„ vykdyto ir Europos socialinio fondo finansuoto projekto "Darbo link" socialinė reklama, skirta kurti teigiamą kurčiųjų asmenų įvaizdį darbo rinkoje ir visuomenėje.
Lietuvos pateiktas darbas buvo pripažintas geriausiu Informacijos ir komunikacijos kategorijoje „Trumpi filmukai, pristatantys ES regioninę politiką".
Konkursą laimėjusios Lietuvos socialinės reklamos tikslinė grupė - girdinčioji visuomenės dalis, darbdaviai, kuriems siekiama parodyti, kad kurtieji yra potencialūs darbuotojai, kūrybingi, darbštūs ir tikslo siekiantys žmonės, gyvenantys tarp mūsų. Vienas iš siektinų tikslų, kad potencialūs darbdaviai įvertintų kurčiųjų galimybes dirbti ir būti naudingais darbo rinkoje.
Projekto vykdytojo užsakymu socialinės reklamos klipus kūrė UAB „DIZI".
Pats projektas „Darbo link" įgyvendintas 2009-2012 m., jame dalyvavo daugiau nei 600 asmenų, turinčių klausos sutrikimų, per 400 iš jų buvo įdarbinti.
Europos Komisijos įsteigtiems „RegioStars 2013" apdovanojimams penkiose kategorijose buvo nominuoti 149 projektai iš 27 ES valstybių.
EK konkurso „RegioStars" apdovanojimus anksčiau yra gavę dar 2 sėkmingi Lietuvoje vykdyti projektai: 2010 m. Informacinių komunikacijos technologijų kategorijoje nugalėtoju pripažintas aljanso „Langas į ateitį" vykdytas kompiuterinio raštingumo projektas, o kategorijoje „Komunikacija: tinklalapis, siūlantis vertingą informaciją ir parodantis ES pridėtinę vertę" apdovanota ES struktūrinės paramos interneto svetainė www.esparama.lt.
„RegioStars" apdovanojimai skiriami sėkmingiausiems ES finansuotiems projektams, kurie įgyvendinami taikant geriausias idėjas bei naujoviškus metodus.
VšĮ Respublikinis kurčiųjų reabilitacijos centras vykdyto ir ESF finansuoto projekto "Darbo link" sukurta socialinė reklama, skirta kurti teigiamą kurčiųjų asmenų įvaizdį darbo rinkoje ir visuomenėje. "Darbo link" tai trijų metų projektas, pradėtas įgyvendinti 2009 m. kovo mėn.
Lithuanian Project has won the RegioStars 2013 award
A social video project "Towards Work" of the National Deaf PeopleRehabilitation Center has won the nomination in the RegioStars 2013 Awards organised by the European Commission.
The objective of the RegioStars Awards is to identify good practices in regional development and to highlight original and innovative projects which could be attractive and inspiring to other regions. The social project "Towards Work – development of mediation services in recruiting people with hearing disabilities" has won the RegioStars 2013 award in communication category "Promoting EU regional policy with short videos".
The videos "Towards Work" are targeting hearing society and employers encouraging them to discover deaf people and potential employees. Deaf people are a part of the audible society – they are able to work and create. Every deaf person is different, has it's own ideas, dreams, habits, profession, interests. One of the main objectives of the project was to achieve that potential employers would evaluate inaudible people's abilities and possibilities of being useful in labour market. Over 600 people with hearing disorders were participating in the project of the Republican Rehabilitation Centre of the Deaf and more than 400 have been employed.
This is the third time the representatives of Lithuania win the RegioStars awards. Previously the awards were granted for the project "Computer Literacy Basics for Lithuanian E-citizen" implemented by Association Langas į ateitį (A Window to the Future) and for EU structural assistance website www.esparama.lt, supervisedby the Ministry of Finance. This website is the basic source of information on EU structural assistance to Lithuania updated on daily basis.

To develop a more positive opinion among the public and among employers in Lithuania about the abilities of the deaf, a series of short video clips have been produced for broadcast on television and the internet.
The videos form a part of social campaign initiated by the European Social Fund-supported project –"Towards Work –development of mediation services in recruiting people with hearing disabilities".
This three year project, launched in March 2009, is being implemented by the Republican Rehabilitation Centre of the Deaf. .
The videos target the hearing society and employers so as to encourage them to discover the value of deaf people and their employment potential. Its key message is that deaf people live among us and are just like us. They dream, work, study, and create families. All we need is to pay a little more attention and effort to communicate and work together.
It portrays the specially trained recruitment agents or ‘employment mediators' working in a series of pilot job centres who not only help hearing-impaired people to find suitable work opportunities, but stay in contact for six months, visit them at work regularly and help to solve variety of different problems often acting as mediators between employer and employee.
In 2010 this project won the award of "European Sails 2010" as one of the most successful projects in Lithuania in the nomination for the promotion of social integration.
These videos have been broadcast on few Lithuanian national TV channels over a 6 month period in 2010.
